Client Area Information
This page is will be updated periodically as this section is developed
Purpose of the client area:
- This area of the web site primary purpose is to provide convenience and information for prospective, new, former and current private practice clients of Mark Vardell. This service is not intended to replace or supplant regular office policies for attendance, scheduling, consent or professional service agreements.
Inquiry Questions:
- If you are interested in seeking counseling and have specific questions, contact me by phone, e-mail or use the Inquiry Web Form. Inquiry and subsequent replies are not intended to provide consultation. Inquiry and reply are not an automatic assumption of agreement to render any service stated or implied.
E-mail, Internet and Privacy:
- In order to exchange personal information over the Internet I strongly suggest you consider and assess the level of privacy, security and comfort that you presently have with your computer and/or e-mail programs which may include where you receive your e-mail and whether it is a shared or private account. It is solely your judgment on how much privacy you require or feel is necessary.
If you wish to consider using a free web based e-mail service as a possible alternative and are unfamiliar with what is available then I would suggest starting with the two more popular services Yahoo Mail and MSN Hotmail . Another possibility in the near future, free web based e-mail maybe available on this page from everyone.net

Private Access Area:
This area is for prospective, current, new and returning clients of Mark Vardell. Prospective clients may not have access to all the pages or sections within the access area. In the future areas within the secure area may require a separate additional login. The Client Access Area is a secure area with sensitive pages such as web form transmissions Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protected. You will know if you're on a secure page by looking for the lock icon on the lower right side bar of your browser.
If your browser does not support SSL capabilities and/or if you prefer you have the option of entering the access area using the Enter regular (non SSL) you will still need to login. However I strongly suggest using the SSL entry link if you plan to use any of the online forms. Note: If you are using Netscape, some of the SSL form pages may misalign the boxes. If that is the case click reload on your browser.
What is currently available includes: Counseling Information, Maps and directions, Downloadable Forms in several formats, Online Scheduling Request Forms and Updating Personal Information Online as well as Resources.
- This section is currently under development and expanded. In the future other options and services are being considered which include: Online Payment, Private Message Boards and eTherapy or Web counseling. With Web Counseling it may be important to note that this will be a selective service offered and will carry certain restrictions and requirements. Come back for further details.
Entering the Private Access Area:
- The Client Access Area requires a login with password. If you have not received a login account you will need to request a login name and password by calling me directly or using the web request form or by e-mail at passwd@markvardell.com . Please be sure to include identifying information and purpose such as your name within the body of your e-mail. Unidentifiable requests will not be responded to. You also have the option if you have forgotten or lost your login/password. However, allow 48 to 72 hours for a reply. Please do not give out your login or password at anytime.
