Tucows Main Page: Tucows is my pick for consistent and reliable download of a variety of utility programs.

TucowsKids : Tucows for childrens software.

Zdnet Download: Software download and pc magazine articles and reviews online.

GoZilla: Has free version download management program. Resumes and reconstructs broken or disconnected download. Great utility for managing downloads.

WebFerret: Stand alone has free version web search program. I find this program has more capability and is faster then some other search engines. I use this regularly.

WS FTP LE: Free to a variety of defined users. Student, Faculty, and "Non business home user". Does my Sam's Club membership apply? *just kidding* A file transfer program is handy even if you use other webpage design and transfer programs.

ICQ: Communication Program.
